MP Jolanta Niezgodzka. XVI Congress of Women

MP Jolanta Niezgodzka is a guest in the discussion on „Dining on despair” in Gdańsk (September 28, Saturday, 7:00 PM, Press Room of the XVI Congress of Women). Jolanta Niezgodzka, a Member of the Polish Parliament (Sejm) in its 10th term, is a Polish politician and local government activist. A law graduate from the University of Wrocław, she also completed postgraduate studies in public sector management. She is a graduate of the School of Political Leaders and participated in the Local Government Workshop Program run by the Stefan Batory Foundation. She worked as a teacher in a post-secondary school in Wrocław. In 2017, she became the chair of the board for the Stare Miasto (Old Town) district. She also became vice-president of the Lower Silesian Congress of Women Association and a member of the Wrocław Women’s Council. As a parliamentarian, she serves on the Committee for Local Government and Regional Policy and chairs the Parliamentary Committee on Social Housing (TBS). She is also involved in fourteen other committees, including the Parliamentary Committee for Women’s Rights, the Parliamentary Committee on Reproductive Rights, the Parliamentary Committee on Children’s and Youth Mental Health, the Parliamentary Committee on Animal Rights Protection, and the Parliamentary Committee on Bicycle Transportation.
