PRIVACY POLICY

This privacy policy describes how we (within the Future Food 4 Climate Coalition) process information about you, including personal data and cookies. It also aims to provide you with key information about what information about you (the user) of our website is collected through it, and what happens to it.

  1. General information
  1. This Policy applies to the Website, operating at www.en.futurefood4climate.eu
  2. The administrator of the personal data is the Green REV Institute, Giordana Bruna 34/PO BOX 5, 02-523 Warsaw, Poland.

  4. The Foundation (Green REV Institute) is the Administrator of your personal data in relation to the data you voluntarily provide on the Website.
  5. The service uses personal data for the following purposes:
    1. For the purpose of newsletter,
    2. Promoting and communicating the Coalition’s activities,
    3. Expanding the membership of the Coalition,
    4. Gathering support for the activities of the Coalition,
    5. Collecting information relevant to the activities of the Coalition and voluntarily provided by the user of the Service (tab „Matter for the Coalition”),
    6. Issuing invoices and other accounting documents related to the functioning of the Coalition,
    7. For accounting, archival and evidential purposes and for the establishment, investigation or protection of claims,
    8. For the purpose of contacting and answering questions.
  6. The service performs functions to obtain information about users including but not limited to the gender, given names and their behavior in the following ways:
    1. Through the data voluntarily entered in the forms, which are entered into the Operator’s systems,
    2. Through the storage of cookies in the end devices,
    3. Through the collection of web server logs held by the Service Administrator.
  7. The Service only collects information voluntarily provided by the user when using the Service, subject to the points below, and may only be shared with third parties with the user’s consent.
  8. In addition, the Service may save information about the connection parameters (indication of the time of use of the Service, IP address).
  9. The data provided in the form is processed for the purposes resulting from the function of the specific form within the Website.

  11. For the sake of the security of the data entrusted to us, we have developed internal procedures and recommendations to prevent their access to unauthorized persons. We monitor their implementation and constantly check their compliance with the relevant legal acts – the Personal Data Protection Act, the Act on the Provision of Electronic Services, and all kinds of implementing acts and Community legislation.
  12. Your rights and information on how your data is processed
  13. In certain situations, the Administrator has the right to transfer your personal data to other recipients if necessary for the performance of a contract concluded with you or for fulfilling obligations incumbent on the Administrator. This applies to such groups of recipients:
  • hosting company on an entrusted basis;
  • operators of the comments system;
  • authorised staff, employees and associates, collaborators who use the data in order to fulfil the purpose of the website;
  • courts and other public administration bodies.
  1. The Administrator shall process your personal data for no longer than is necessary for the performance of the related activities defined by different regulations (e.g., on accounting). Concerning marketing data, data will not be processed for longer than 3 years.
  2. As we handle your personal data, you have the right to request the Administrator:
  • the right to withdraw your consent to data processing, 
  • the right of access to your personal data
  • the right to request the rectification of your personal data 
  • the right to request the erasure of your personal data 
  • the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data, 
  • The right to have your personal data transferred, i.e. the right to receive your personal data from us, in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable computer format. You can send this data to another controller or request that we send your data to another controller. However, we will only do this if such a transfer is technically possible. You have the right to data portability only in respect of data that we process based on a contract with you or based on your consent.

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for the legitimate interests pursued by the Administrator, including profiling, with the right to object not being exercisable where there are valid legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms, in particular the establishment, assertion or defense of claims.

  3. You have the right to complain about the Administrator’s actions to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.
  4. Provision of personal data is voluntary but necessary to operate the Service.
  5. Personal data is not transferred from third countries within personal data protection regulations. This means that we do not send them outside the European Union.
  6. Information contained in the forms
  1. The service collects information voluntarily provided by the user, including personal data if provided.
  2. The service may record information about the connection parameters (time stamp, IP address).
  3. The service, in some cases, may record information to facilitate the linking of the data in the form with the e-mail address of the user filling in the form. In this case, the user’s e-mail address appears inside the URL of the page containing the form.
  4. The data provided in the form is processed for the purpose resulting from the function of the specific form, e.g., to process a service request or commercial contact, registration of services, etc. Each time, the context and description of the form inform what it is used for.
  5. The data contained in the form can be accessed by the natural person who placed it there. The individual also has the right to modify and stop processing his/her data at any time.
  6. Cookies – aggregated information
  1. The Website uses cookies.
  2. Cookies are IT data, in particular files or short text information, stored in the Service User’s terminal equipment and intended for use on the Website. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, the time they are stored on the terminal equipment and a unique number.
  3. Cookies contain, among other things, the following data:
  • The public IP address of the computer from which the request came, 
  • Information on the type of the user’s operating system, 
  • information about the user’s browser, the pages visited by the user, 
  • the amount of time spent on each page.
  1. The Service Operator is the entity placing cookies on the Service User’s terminal equipment and gaining access to them.
  2. Cookies are used for the following purposes:
    1. To compile statistics on how Users use the Website;
    2. To improve the structure and content of the Website,
    3. To adapt the content of the Website to the User’s preferences and to optimise the use of the Website.

The Website uses two main types of cookies: „session” (session cookies) and „permanent” (persistent cookies). „Session” cookies are temporary files that are stored on the User’s terminal equipment until they log off, leave the website or switch off the software (web browser). „Persistent” cookies are stored on the User’s terminal equipment for the time specified in the parameters of the cookies or until they are deleted by the User.

  5. Restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some of the functionalities available on the Website.
  6. Cookies placed in the Service User’s end device may also be used by entities cooperating with the Service Operator, in particular companies: Google (Google Inc. based in the USA), Facebook (Facebook Inc. based in the USA), Twitter (Twitter Inc. based in the USA).
  7. You acknowledge that advertising networks may use cookies to display advertisements customized to how you use the Website. To this end, they may retain information about the user’s navigation path or the length of time they stayed on a particular page.
  8. Cookie management
  1. Users can change their browser settings if they do not wish to receive cookies. We stipulate that disabling cookies necessary for authentication processes, security, and maintenance of user preferences may make it more difficult and, in extreme cases, impossible to use the websites.

  2. We reserve the right to change the website’s privacy policy, which developments may influence internet technology, possible changes in data protection law, and the development of our website. We will inform you of any changes visibly and understandably.
  3. This Privacy Policy is effective as of 1 December 2021.
