Vegan diet in educational institutions – a replica of Sandra Marciniak

10 października 2022

“A vegan diet is not for the proper development of a child. It can cause negative consequences, so it should not be introduced to kindergartens ”- this is how Portal Spożywczy is quoted by dietitian Anna Cichoń.

Green REV Institute, the operator of the first advocacy coalition for the transformation of the food system, provided a replica of the article of October 2, 2022.

The replica was developed by Ms Sandra Marciniak, a certified dietitian, nutritional educator, promoter of a healthy and conscious lifestyle, author of scientific and popular science articles, involved in advocacy projects at the Green REV Institute.

We draw your attention to the fact that currently people on a plant-based diet have limited access to meals in kindergartens, schools and educational institutions. The research carried out by Green REV Institute, Future Food 4 Climate, in cooperation with Parents for Climate and Akcja Demokracja, showed a very negative situation in Polish educational institutions in terms of access to healthy, balanced plant diets.

In the reply, Sandra Marciniak confronts the arguments about the vegan diet in Anna Cichoń’s article and emphasizes that a vegan diet can be balanced, wholesome, nutritious and healthy for people, animals and the planet.

We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the replica.
