Activism for a sustainable food system
The Green REV Institute, in collaboration with the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, is organising a Youth Climate Lab event on 25 January 2024 (Thursday). The event will take place as part of the Nothing About Us Without Us project, which targets young people, activists and activists from all over Poland. REV works to increase the participation, engagement and knowledge of young people in leading systemic actions and social campaigns for climate and food system transformation.
Youth Climate Lab is a full-day workshop event that will bring together activists, local leaders, people representing youth organisations and initiatives. The workshop includes 3 main thematic blocks:
- FarmingFreeDeforestry and Watchdogs – the workshop will be led by Martyna Krystman-Rydlewicz, PhD student, trainee solicitor, specialising in private law and environmental protection;
- PlantSchools and advocacy work – the workshop will be led by Dominik Kuc, activist, council member of the GrowSpace Foundation;
- „Don’t waste – buy responsibly” and social campaigns – the workshop will be led by Dr. Marzena Cypryańska – Nezlek, researcher and lecturer from SWPS University, Centre for Climate Action and Social Transformation.
As part of the Nic o Nas bez Nas project, the Green REV Institute, together with the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, has already organised 3 online workshops and 2 full-day residential events.
