Oxford University in the UK’s Veganuary addressed the need to transform the food system. Dr Mike Clark, Director of the Food Programme at Oxford Smith School, talked about the impact of meat consumption on the environment, the climate but also on human health in an interview.

Dr Mike Clark: „A key first step is to be aware of the environmental impacts of food systems, and a second is to swap meat for other foods.”

In his expert opinion, Dr Clark stressed that in order to deal with today’s food system change challenges, we need systemic solutions. This will require commitment and cooperation from all parties.
