On July 3, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Education on the core curriculum for health education. Recommendations developed by the Green REV Institute, Future Food 4 Climate were submitted to the Ministry and the Student Rights and Responsibilities Team in May 2024.

Green REV Institute: „The key is not only on the content of the core curriculum itself, but also on the need to take care of the places where young people use common nutrition & catering and/or buy food. The school should be the first community place for fair food, not, as at present, to form unhealthy food habits, contribute to a lack of interest in food in the context of origin, mode of production, and discourage agency in the food system. That is why it is so important to provide support for nutritionists, dieticians, support local farmers , establish vegetable gardens, learn about how food is produced and its impact on the climate, human rights and farmed animals. Undoubtedly, one of the subjects or topics should be the Common Agricultural Policy and the rights of consumer people. In an era of climate catastrophe and conflict, we need comprehensive, planned education for food justice. Food affects our health, our quality of life, the climate, the environment, farmers. „
