On 6 August 2024, we received a response regarding the public consultation of the draft regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on the detailed scope of tasks carried out by the National Centre of Support for Agriculture related to the implementation of the schools programme on the territory of the Republic of Poland. The Ministry indicates that: „Taking into account the allegation concerning the lack of action of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in the context of the quality and origin of the products included in the portions made available to children under both components of the Programme, I would like to point out that at the stage of development of the strategic parameters of the Programme for schools defined in the document „Strategy for the implementation of the school scheme in Poland from 2023/2024 to 2028/2029 school year”, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, formulated a list of products that can be made available under the Programme, based on the criterion of their highest quality in the context of health values.”
