Report – Safe & Just
The Green REV Institute, in collaboration with the Plant Based Treaty, has released the Polish version of the report ‘Safe & Just. A vegan approach to the economics of the Plant Based Treaty food system’. The report, presented at the COP28 climate summit, highlights the importance of the global transformation of the food system to a more sustainable, plant-based one. The report is based on Kate Raworth’s concept of the economics of the rim and points to the need to implement holistic changes to stop environmental degradation.
The introduction to the report was prepared and edited by Dr. Sylwia Spurek and Prof Piotr Skubala, highlighting the key role of food policy in addressing the climate crisis and protecting animal rights.
