Raport – dr. Sylwia Spurek
The Green REV Institute, in collaboration with the Plant Based Treaty, presents the Polish version of the report ‘Safe & Just’. The report, based on Kate Raworth’s concept of circular economics, points to the need for a global transformation of the food system. The introduction to the report was prepared by, among others, Dr. Sylwia Spurek, who emphasises the importance of the publication in terms of the change we need.
Dr. Sylwia Spurek: ‘If we don’t radically change as a society, if we don’t abandon our conformism and speciesism attitude – we won’t save the planet, ourselves or other animals.’
Dr. Sylwia Spurek: ‘The “Safe and Just” report is a progressive, visionary and bold vision, but one that is realistic. All that its authors and creators propose we can put into practice and revolutionise the world as we know it, along with the current shape of the livestock sector.’
