3rd Forum on Food Safety

The 3rd Safe Food Forum will now take place at the Warsaw Public Library on 26 November 2024 from 10:30am – 3:30pm. The event is organised by the Green REV Institute and the Future Food 4 Climate coalition and is supported by the UK Embassy and the European Climate Foundation. The 3rd Safe Food Forum is under the Honorary Patronage of the Mayor of the City of Warsaw.

During the Forum, the following speakers will act as keynote speakers: Dr. Marta Czapnik – Jurak, Sociologist, Food Banks; Agnieszka Pijanowska – Office of Alicja Łepkowska-Golas, Member of the Polish Parliament (MP) for the 10th term; Dr. Karolina Zioło-Pużuk, Councillor of the City of Warsaw; Dr. Miłka StępieńCEE Bankwatch Network, Expert on Just Climate Change; Dr. Andrzej Kassenberg, Institute for Sustainable Development; Dr. Ryszard Kulik, Ecological Thought Club.

This year’s Forum will feature a panel discussion on ‘Cities of the Future: good food policy, responsible climate policy and sustainable development’. The panel will be moderated by Dr. Marzena Cypryanska – Nezlek- expert of the Green REV Institute, lecturer, researcher at the SWPS Centre for Climate Action and Social Transformation. Among the invited participants and attendees will be councillors and aldermen from various cities in Poland, Allies and Allies of the Plant School Programme, including: Filip Pelc (Councillor of the Białołęka District of the City of Warsaw), Aleksandra Owca (Councillor of the City of Kraków), Monika Kwiatkowska (Councillor of the City of Lublin), Agnieszka Krzyżak- Pitura (Councillor of the Mokotów District of the City of Warsaw), and Anna Maria Krasnodębska (Councillor of the Żoliborz District of the City of Warsaw).
