We have launched a new advocacy project addressing decision-makers. We want to show that fish deserve a voice from politicians. Poland will receive more than 500 million euros under the European Funds for Fisheries Program for 2021-27, but there is no public debate about fish as sentient beings and as farmed animals. Legislation does not protect fish, which are killed in food production. In dialogue with politicians and the scientific community, we want to change the situation of fish. Show them as sentient beings who deserve protection and show how fish farms affect the climate, public health, the environment.
