The reportage ‘Dining on Despair’, the third production of the Green REV Institute, has again been recognised internationally. The film has been selected to participate in one of Balkan Can Kino’s curated screening programmes for the 2025-2026 season, with screenings taking place mainly in Athens, Greece.

„Dining on Despair ’ is a reportage depicting the consequences of food production in an environmental, health and social context. The film analyses the impact of contemporary food policies on climate, human and animal rights, highlighting the need to transform the food system.

This is another accolade for our production, confirming the growing international interest in the topic of food system transformation. We thank the organisers of Balkan Can Kino for the nomination and look forward to the screenings!
