Future Food 4 Climate invites experts, activists, NGOs, academics and decision-makers in meetings – expert panels, on the pillars of a sustainable food system, the Common Agricultural Policy and the impact of industrial farms on climate, biodiversity, the lives of people in the vicinity of animal farms. Yesterday there was a panel on urban, local food policies with the participation of local government, academics and activists.
Reminder: in September 2023. The European Commission is expected to present a framework for a sustainable food system (SFS), which will be a tool for implementing the EU Farm 2 Fork (Farm to Table). The pillars of the SFS are anti-food waste, food labeling, food in educational institutions, and public procurement.
