FF4C members meeting on city food policies

18 października 2022

Today there was a meeting of the Future Food 4 Climate Coalition, which brings together organizations from Poland and Ukraine, dealing with the broadly understood topic of repairing the food system.

At the meeting, we discussed the relationship between cities’ food policy for the climate. We also mentioned the opportunity to read the report from the debate „Local governments for the climate”, which was devoted to the project „Schools for Climate – Plant Meals in Schools”. This project is carried out by the Future Food 4 Climate Group for Food Quality and Safety. During the meeting, we naturally asked about the actions of local governments to transform the food system and the need to implement the Farm to Fork strategy at the local level. We also talked about the availability of plant-based meals and the costs incurred by the residents of the current food production system – health, environmental, social and ethical costs.

We encourage you to actively join our advocacy projects and coalition.
