We are sending a letter to EU Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Christophe Hansen on healthy and safe food!

The Green REV Institute, together with partners of the Future Food 4 Climate Coalition, sent a letter to the newly appointed EU Commissioner for Agriculture and Food. In our appeal, we stressed that the right to healthy, ethical and sustainable food is a fundamental human right.

In the letter, we drew attention to:

• the urgent need to transform food systems in the EU,
• the reduction of support to the livestock sector,
• the promotion of healthy and sustainable plant-based food,
• protection of the climate, environment and citizens’ health.

We also called for concrete action and a meeting to discuss how we can work together to build a better future for people, animals and the planet.

It is time for change – Europe deserves a food system that supports health and sustainability!
