The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development held a conference on food disinformation. Unfortunately, among the topics discussed were the need to maintain censorship in the naming of plant products and information on the need to defend the animal agriculture & production sector. We were extremely surprised to hear speeches by decision-makers and the Minister’s statement that „the Polish farmer loves animals.” In the context of the climate catastrophe, antibiotic resistance, it is surprising that the government does not support a plant-based, green transformation, and stands firmly on the position that animal production is the basis of food security.
