Nothing about us without us – meeting
The next online meeting of the ongoing Green Advocacy Academy project – Nothing about us without us – will take place this Thursday (19.10.2023). The project is being carried out in collaboration with the Royal Embassy of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The online event will feature two expert speakers:
Anna Spurek- COO of the Green REV Institute, at the forefront and in the whirlwind of the day-to-day management of a vegan think tank in Poland. Advocate, guardian not only of management issues but of ensuring that the voice of non-human animals and food solidarity are always present in the public debate;
Augustyn Mikos – member and activist of the Pracownia na rzecz Wszystkich Istot Association. Augustyn is associated with grassroots civic movements working to protect the valuable forests of the Carpathian and Białowieża Primeval Forests.
The meeting will address the following issues:
- EU climate ambitions before the elections;
- what we can do to ensure that the next few years are filled with action and strong advocacy for animals, the planet and people;
- the challenges facing nature conservation;
- forests – why they are so important to our ecosystem and planet.
