On 7 May we took part in a meeting of the standing sub-committee on farm animal welfare and the protection of animal production in Poland and combating infectious animal diseases.

We called for ambitious and determined protection of the interests of people, citizens, consumers and their taxes from unhealthy, unsustainable food, pandemics, zoonoses, antibiotic resistance, diet-related diseases and misinformation on the origin of food.

Morgan Janowicz, Partnership Coordinator: „We don’t expect the livestock sector to want to make the transition to a production sector that is ethical and healthy for people, animals and the planet without additional regulation, but we do expect those in power to prioritise the health of male and female citizens, the rights of consumer people.”
