We submitted a position paper to the UNEP consultation. The United Nations Environment Program should urgently address the issue of a multisectoral approach to the conservation of natural resources, bringing all actors and stakeholders on board for a green, just climate transition. We also emphasize that food system transformation is a necessity today, and point to the European Commission’s work on legislation for a sustainable food system. Green transformation requires a cross-power, inclusive and comprehensive approach.
